Undercurrent is a weekly generative writing workshop on Zoom
with Desireé Dallagiacomo and up to 25 other writers.
Come for the poems. Stay for the company.
In Undercurrent, we:
Participate in a brief and connective check-in as a whole group
Closely read and analyze 1-2 poems every week, utilizing literary and popular methods
Learn various poetic terms, devices, and methods to bring to our own work
Write together (10-20 minute writing time to get some words on the page)
Read back (optional, of course!)
Currently, there are open spots in both workshops.
Undercurrent utilizes a sliding scale pricing model. $50 a month ($12.50 per workshop) is the actual cost of the workshop, there are a select number of $40 spots for those that can’t pay the actual cost, and there are $60 spots for those that would like to support those paying the $40 rate.

Undercurrent is a weekly writing workshop. All skill levels are welcome and each workshop is different and stand alone.

What’s included in your Undercurrent subscription:
• Live writing workshops with Des and 12-25 other writers every Friday at either 1:30pm ET or 8:30pm ET.
This is a recurring monthly subscription that is nonrefundable and nontransferable, and you can cancel at any time.
A subscription gives you access to Undercurrent for your full subscription period. You don’t have to sign up, you don’t have to RSVP, just show up.
SOME MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE PRICE POINTS:
$50/month: this is the base rate and the actual cost of the workshop
$60/month: this is the community caretaker rate. $10 of your subscription each month will go in to the scholarship fund, and this will increase access for folks that cannot afford a subscription
$40/month: Reserved for folks that cannot afford the actual cost. These are limited, so please only utilize this if you cannot afford the $50 price point.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no refunds. If you cancel your subscription at any point you will still have access to the rest of your subscription period. Click here to manage your account.
